B.C. Goodpasture - Born and educated in Overton Co., he became a noted writer and preacher for the Church of Christ. Goodpasture Christian School of Nashville was named after him. This temporary exhibit features memorabilia of his life.
And Justice for All - A jail cell in its original form allows museum attendees to feel the reality of jail life.
The Twister of 1933 - One of the worst natural disaster happened May 12, 1933 when a massive tornado swept through the area, leaving a trail of broken homes and broken bodies. Perry Ledford photographed the devastation. His images and camera are now on display. |
